for my daughters birthday...I was so excited because I've wanted one for so long but the Pro family size.
So she was also excited she wanted to take out frozen chicken or frozen whatever and pop it into the oven and in how ever many minutes have a delicious cooked meal...she says that not only did it take longer to cook than the book says...but the chicken came out rubbery...
So I gave her a gift card and took the oven...today I cooked frozen pizza, bacon and a frozen sirloin burger. They did all take longer than the book stated. But they all came out tasting good..
I haven't tried frozen chicken breasts yet I will try that soon...what I don't like about the Mini oven is its oblong in shape...makes it impossible to cook any medium round items over 7.5 inches. You can't any use single size cake pans...so you're very limited on what size of items you can cook... Read more

Both are fantastic! My husband laughed at me when I ordered the first one, but he was also very impressed with the way it cooked after the first meal. The mini is perfect for veggies or smaller meats. I am into cooking healthy and the amount of fat that is removed from meats is great. I think the mini will be used more than the Nuwave Pro because it is much easier to clean than the Pro is only because of the size. I was surprised at how easy the racks are to clean. No scrubbing needed, but I have found that cleaning racks on other appliances in the dishwasher damages the finish and makes them harder to clean so these won't be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The cooking times given are just a starting point. I have also found that it takes quite a bit longer to cook than the recommended times. I was aware of this from the reviews I read before I ordered them so if speed is the reason you are... Read more

I replaced it with something similar fron Aroma, which had a design flaw. Then I got a similar product from Target which lasted two years. The large ones worked well and most of what I cooked went 10-20 minutes at 400degrees.
This model is barely big enough to cook 3 strips of bacon in 11 minutes. A chicken breast, more than 30 minutes. If you like the speed and versatility of convection cooking, this is not satisfactory.
