first time user, August 10, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Oster TSSTTVSKBT 6-Slice Large Capacity Toaster Oven, Brushed Stainless Steel (Kitchen) I've never used a toaster oven, nor known anyone who did, but after researching that it could save $$ by using it to bake for two of us, I decided to buy one. I love it! This model is roomy enough for casseroles, bakes potatoes great and doesn't leave the kitchen hot on these summer days. I particularily sought one with a convection feature and do find that baking items is quicker; another $$ savings on my electric bill!

Very good conventional-oven/microwave substitute, September 8, 2011 This review is from: Oster TSSTTVSKBT 6-Slice Large Capacity Toaster Oven, Brushed Stainless Steel (Kitchen) I bought this oven a year ago at sams club for about $70. I was living in Mexico temporarily and did not want to buy a stove/oven combo. So decided on this toaster oven to substitute for mostly a microwave and oven and transport it with me to Mexico.
Best choice I could have made. It baked, warmed, toasted and it worked wonderfully each time. It became my main cooking source. I baked casseroles, breads, cupcakes, toasted potato chips, everything to perfection.
Electricity was not very strong in my area (i was far deep in the country) so using the convection oven was a problem; it made too much noise (prob. the fan). I am assuming that the noise would be diminished in a well power supplied area (U.S.) But other than that, it look beautiful in my kitchen. It stays very clean especially with the removable crumb tray.
My only complaint might be that it does not have a "cancel" button, to abort the cooking process. But I am not sure if any toaster-ovens have that... Read more
