At exactly the the three-month mark since purchase, I have to report this is NOT a well-made unit. I'd had trouble with it over the last week, and determined yesterday that the cause was total failure of the lower heating elements. Doesn't matter if I get it repaired or replaced, or I don't. Nothing should fail so totally, so fast. I've retracted my earlier review and dropped this to One Star. My apologies to anyone who relied on this review and purchased this product. See below for all the Good Things I had to say about it and now regret publishing.

much better than the 'big oven', December 7, 2009 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sanyo SK-CV8S Digital Convection 6-Slice Toaster Oven (Kitchen) I think this thing is awesome. The convection feature bakes the food perfectly, although the fan is a little loud, but easily suppressed with other sounds (like TV. :)) The fan does a good job distributing the heat though. All of the stuff I baked so far comes out perfectly.
The digital input are good as well. Though, it will be nice to have a easier way to input the timer. It only has 2 up and down button to do the job. I need to hold it a bit longer to enter longer time, but the counter does go faster the longer I pressed the button, but I still prefer a numeric input pad.
One thing I'd like to have in this oven is 'light'. Yes, just a light bulb, it is a little dark inside, and it's hard to tell whether the food is already brown or not. Fortunately, I have a little flashlight for the job. I'm not sure if other oven has this feature though.

After calling the Sanyo number, I was told that since it wasn't an electrical problem, it wasn't covered by the warranty even though the unit is only 2 months old. Don't buy.
